Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation
The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation was born from a mother’s love for her children. Elizabeth Glaser contracted the AIDS virus through a blood transfusion in 1981 when giving birth to her daughter, Ariel. Elizabeth and her husband, Paul Glaser, later learned that she had unknowingly passed the virus to Ariel and then to their son, Jacob. Following Ariel’s death in 1988, Elizabeth joined with close friends Susie Zeegen and Susan DeLaurentis to create a foundation with a simple but critical mission: to bring hope to all children with AIDS.
Although Elizabeth lost her own battle with AIDS, her life is a testament to the power that all mothers have to make a difference in their own lives and the lives of their children. Elizabeth’s legacy also lives on in her son, Jacob, who is a healthy young adult. Thanks to the Foundation’s commitment to research, advocacy, and prevention and treatment programs, the lives of many other children around the world have been saved as well.

Jack & Jill Late Stage Cancer Foundation
The Jack & Jill Late Stage Cancer Foundation® is the first and only resource nationally to provide memory opportunities for children who have a Mom or Dad with late-stage, limited life cancer. The American Cancer Society estimates 571,000 Americans died of cancer this past year. Many were parents leaving behind grieving children. “Treating families to WOW! Experiences®, giving children, who will lose their Mom or Dad to cancer, a timeout to create indispensable memories together…while they can” is our mission and purpose. A WOW! is a unique, memorable experience that allows the family to enjoy time with each other away from their new normal of living with cancer. WOW! Experiences® include: concerts, resort stays, The Grammys, The Oscars, American Idol, The X-Games; professional and college sports, Broadway shows, cruises; theme parks and attractions; and even private tours of the White House. These children and these families (together) deserve to call timeout from the throes, hardship and miserable anticipation of losing their Mom or Dad. Most of the Dads and Moms The Foundation "treats" die within 2-5 months after they go on their WOW! Experience®. This is meaningful, tangible and indispensable. Your support will give these families a cherished timeout...together….while they can. What a gift. Indispensable is an appropriate word. "Memories become our greatest inheritance"®

National Federation of the Blind
With more than 50,000 members nationwide, the National Federation of the Blind serves as the voice of the nation’s blind. We are blind people working together in local chapters, state organizations, and at our headquarters, the National Center for the Blind, to create a bright tomorrow for ourselves, for blind children, and for those who will come after us. We believe that our blindness does not need to stop us from living full and productive lives but that misunderstanding about blindness and lack of opportunity often prevent us from doing so.
We help parents of blind children, give scholarships to blind students, conduct a service which allows blind people to read newspapers over the telephone free of charge, operate the International Braille and Technology Center for the Blind, work to expand employment opportunities, and help blind senior citizens learn necessary skills to continue living independent lives. We seek out and welcome with gratitude assistance from sighted members of the general public who wish to join with us in our work.

Peace First
Peace First (formerly Peace Games), which began as a response to the sky-rocketing youth homicide rates in the early 1990s, works in partnership with schools to build safe, effective school climates where children learn how to be engaged and active citizens. The heart of this program is a Pre-K-8 service-learning curriculum integrated weekly into the academic frameworks of the school, taught by young adult volunteers in partnership with the classroom teacher. This work is supported by intense coaching with principals and lead teachers to deepen their efficacies at supporting academically and emotionally successful young people.
Peace First exists to teach students to become problem-solvers with the ability, and the inclination, to create social change. We work with schools to empower students with the skills, relationships, and opportunities to be engaged, positive forces in their communities and throughout their lives. We show them they have the power, creativity, and responsibility to create peace.
Peace First operates in Boston, Los Angeles, and New York; Tickets for Charity donations will help us grow our work in these regions.

Dimock’s teen center is an island of security for kids in the inner city.
The Red Sox Foundation also funds The Red Sox Scholars program, which each year provides 25 college scholarships of $5,000 each plus accrued interest and mentoring to financially challenged, academically talented sixth graders. And the fourth cornerstone of the Red Sox Foundation is children's athletic programs including youth baseball and Children's Retreats at the Ron Burton Training Village in central Massachusetts, where children learn life skills and improve their self esteem.
